A friend I’d not heard from or seen for over forty years, reappeared in my life this week, by way of an e-mail.
An article I read this morning spoke to me. Throughout the day, it said, women all over the world, tend to move those things that nourish our minds, bodies, and spirits from the top of our daily things-to-do list to a lower and then even lower, and finally, the lowest place, so that by the end of the day, most everything has gotten done, except those items that would have added to our personal well being.
Flipping through the channels last night, I came upon a show called, “What I Hate About Me.” The title stopped me in my tracks; the content left me speechless.
The weather outside is frightful…the sky is gray and begins to rumble, heavy rains and winds are on the way.
I began making a list this morning of activities that lift my spirit.
