Being Happy
A blizzard is predicted by noon in these parts, but on my mind this morning is happiness—not that now-I-feel-it; now-I-don’t variety, but rather, an unshakable feeling of gratitude for whatever comes my way.

The weather reports are alarming—more snow. A lot more. And ice and blustery winds.
It’s going to be another busy day today—visits to two host hospitals, playing for patients, teaching, four hours coming and going. Even so, I’m taking this moment to breathe in and out as I clear my head and jot down a few notes.
I, for one, am not disappointed over Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction that we’re in for six more weeks of winter.
