A New Year
I’m spending these precious first hours of this brand new year renewing my core beliefs and re-aligning my activities to reflect them.

A raging storm woke me up in the wee hours this morning. For over an hour I tried to fall back to sleep, but could not. Finally I crept out of bed and headed downstairs. The rain continued to beat heavily on the windows, but the thunder and lightening had mostly abated.
I get to steward a new group today into the wondrous realm of harp therapy.
Today, the first day of the tenth year of Bedside Harp, I am filled with delight, gratitude, and tons of ideas.
I’m loving the book I’m reading now— Music of Silence: A Sacred Journey Through the Hours of the Day, by David Steindl-Rast and Sharon Lebell.
