This One’s for Me
I’ve got an early morning appointment today so my focus has been on showering, dressing, breakfasting, grabbing my harp and heading out the door.
I’ve got an early morning appointment today so my focus has been on showering, dressing, breakfasting, grabbing my harp and heading out the door.
I played for two hours in a mall last evening—at a hospital-sponsored Go Red for Women event meant to educate women of the importance of becoming more tuned in to their bodies, and most especially, to their hearts.
I was extended a novel invitation yesterday—committing to the process of befriending my Self, of accepting and celebrating all the parts that are me, of openly showing love for and kindness to my Self, as I would a treasured friend.
It’s February 1st—how perfect a day to begin working toward my goal of achieving a healthier lifestyle!
Flipping through the channels last night, I came upon a show called, “What I Hate About Me.” The title stopped me in my tracks; the content left me speechless.
As I set off for another busy day, I take a moment to breathe. Breathing is most underrated. We’re so used to doing it, we usually give it little to no thought.
