A Perfect Moment
Spotting me at her doorway, the forty-something patient, wan and frail, smiled and nodded before wordlessly nestling in her bed and adjusting her sheet. She seemed to drink in the sounds of my little harp. Soon her breathing became regular, and I realized she’d fallen asleep. A perfect a moment for both of us.
