A Second New Tradition!
Starting today, and the15th day of every month, I invite you to write a letter of thanks to someone you care about, someone who has made your life sweeter. You can share your thoughts on doing this or even share your letter in the Comments box below. Know that by participating, you’ll bless yourself, the person you’re writing to, and also, all of our readers. My letter this month is going to be to my mother. I can hardly wait to find out what I’ll say!
”How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes! ” — Maya Angelou, American poet, author, educator, historian, actress, dancer, civil rights activist, playwright, producer and director.
”It’s not the question, what am I going to be when I grow up; you should ask the question, who am I going to be when I grow up.” — Goldie Hawn, American actress, film director, producer and sometimes singer
”Death is a challenge. It tells us not to waste time… It tells us to tell each other right now that we love each other.” — Leo Buscaglia, 1924-1998, American author, motivational speaker, professor
May you make time to write one short note to one person who makes a difference in your life.
Enjoy your day!

I am going to write to my dear friend, Mildred. She has been my spiritual mentor and dear friend for over 10 years. She is now 91 and in a nursing home. We have shared laughs, tears, joys, disappointments, and “just being”, without judgement. I appreciate her wisdom in living life.
