A Wish from the Heart
I attended a beautiful ceremony yesterday celebrating one who chose to follow his heart. Following your heart is never easy. Funny thing is though, it is the hurdles we jumped, the sacrifices we made, the storms we weathered, and the ever-present self doubts we overcame every step of the way, that make the moment of accomplishment all the sweeter.
“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.” –Mevlana Rumi
“Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower.” –Shigenori Kameoka
“If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing.” –Marc Chagall
Enjoy your day!

These are the very same thoughts I have been thinking about. And when one looks back at the road one has traveled, one is amazed at where one is. The pleasures are all of gratitude for the frienships, mentors, experiences, and helping hands along the way. And the thoughts of doing that continued one step at a time, even though the challenges have been many and are still, the true joy is in knowing that the journey in and of itself is a wonderful blessing of its own.
