March Blessings
Before taking off to play at the funeral of a friend’s father, I take a moment to count my blessings. It is, after all, the 14th of the month, the day we’ve dedicated to doing this. I am blessed by being alive and well and able to serve a family and friends in their hour of grief. I am blessed by having my husband back home after four days in the hospital. My loving family, friends, colleagues and students bless my life every day. And I am blessed too by being able to follow my bliss.
Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence. — Og Mandino, American pilot, inspirational speaker and author.
May you count your blessings today and bless the rest of us by sharing them.
Enjoy your day!

As I awake this morning I am blessed that I have so many loving, caring people around me. My mother has been in the hospital since last Wed. and she is improving but I will need to decide if she should go into full time rehab to help her become physically stable. While this time has been stressful I have been surrounded by love and support. I have many blessings. Thank You.
