Spring Dreams
Enough with snow already! Ordinarily it wouldn’t make much of a difference to me, but tomorrow—tomorrow was to be our day and evening with the wonderful Sunita Staneslow from Israel, where, by the way, this has been the warmest February in 38 years. Instead, we’ll probably spend most of the day digging ourselves out.
Oh, please Spring, spring!
” Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!” — Robin Williams, American actor
”O, wind, if winter comes, can Spring be far behind?” — Percy Bysshe Shelly, English Romantic Poet whose passionate search for personal love and social justice was gradually channeled from overt actions into poems that rank with the greatest in the English language. 1792-1822
” Poor, dear, silly Spring, preparing her annual surprise! “ — Wallace Stevens, American poet whose work explores the interaction between reality, and what we can make of reality in our minds. 1879-1955
All together now: “Spring, Spring, Spring, Spring, Spring….”
Enjoy your day!

Edie,
I’ve played “Serenade to Spring” daily since your last snow post—I guess we need a chorus of harps. C’mon everyone, join in. And maybe if we list some of our favorite spring songs here, it’ll help too!
Just for starters:
It Might As Well Be Spring
Here Comes the Sun
Spring is Here
When the Red, Red Robin
