Synchronicity
Can’t tell you why, but yesterday I picked up a book that’s been on my shelf for months. From the first, its words resonated deeply within me. This morning, just before dashing off to work on a course I’m teaching, I sneaked in another chapter. I should have known—everything I need to share with my students, was contained in the few pages I just devoured. The book? Heal Thyself by Saki Santorelli.
“Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.” — Carl Jung
“Books can be possessive, can’t they? You’re walking around in a bookstore and a certain one will jump out at you, like it had moved there on its own, just to get your attention. Sometimes what’s inside will change your life…” — Sarah Allen
“When we’re interested in something, everything around us appears to refer to it (the mystics call these phenomena ‘signs,’ the sceptics ‘coincidence,’ and psychologists ‘concentrated focus,’ although I’ve yet to find out what term historians should use).” — Paulo Coehlo
My wish for you today is to see everything in your path with new eyes.
Enjoy your day!
