Tears
The rain this morning reminds me how long it’s been since I had a good cry. Allowing my tears to flow freely soothes my soul, clears my head and opens my heart wider than I think possible. But my tears usually don’t come easily; I often have to coax them forth by watching a tragic movie or listening to gripping music. Tonight may be different though, for today I play for patients being kept alive by machines.
“Tears are God’s gift to us. Our holy water. They heal us as they flow.” –Rita Schiano, Sweet Bitter Love
”What soap is for the body, tears are for the soul. “—Jewish Proverb
”The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears.”—John Vance Cheney
My wish for you today that you recognize, honor and embrace all of your emotions—they are, after all, what makes you human.
Enjoy your day!

My tears flowed this afternoon as I witnessed my mother having yet another seizure - how much more can the body and soul endure?
