This One’s for Me
I’ve got an early morning appointment today so my focus has been on showering, dressing, breakfasting, grabbing my harp and heading out the door. Pausing to post a reflection in the midst of so many things to do would have been unthinkable six months ago. Now it’s become a rather essential part of my morning regime. What began as a way to inspire my students throughout their day, has transformed into one that inspires me.
”Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you, the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.” — Leo Buscaglia, 1924-1998, American author and motivational speaker
”As soon as you get over caring what people think, you can have a nice time.” &mdash Lara Flynn Boyle, American film and television actress
Be kind to yourself today—take 15 minutes out of your day to dream or write or play your harp or sing—just for you.
Enjoy your day.
