The nurse was finishing up in this patient’s room as I entered the unit, and the patient’s wife called me into the room as she moved back the curtain.

As I made my rounds in this hallway, a staff member stopped me to express her appreciation for the harpists.
The patient was lying in bed and motioned me in when she saw me in the doorway.
The patient, an alert and oriented female, was sitting in the hall in a wheelchair watching all the activity. She smiled as I came down the hall.
I was called into the room immediately by the patient’s daughter, who was seated so she could see the door.
