Nov. 2009. I was invited into the room by the patient and her visitors. The visitors explained that the patient was deaf, but the patient quickly told me that she could feel the music. I moved close to her and she smiled as she alternatively watched my hands and then closed her eyes. The visitors appeared equally thrilled that she was receiving such an experience and all thanked me as I left.
