Tears

This patient was sitting in her chair by her bed.  She gave me a big smile when she saw me at her door.  She enjoyed the music very, very much and sang along with the songs she knew.  I played “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” and she smiled and said, “That brought tears to my eyes.”  I told her that I hoped they were happy tears, and she said, “Yes, they really were.”
