The Best Medicine

Patient sitting up in chair heard me walk thru hallway and said, “Oh! That is so beautiful. The most beautiful thing I have heard here. Oh! I’m in so much pain. Thank you so much. It’s so soothing. It’s making me want to fall asleep.” I played even slower and softer and she caught a short nap and woke up as her husband came in the room. She said to him, “This is a most lovely thing, isn’t it?” He smiled and said “Yes, that’s wonderful.” She said, “I really appreciate it.”
