From our first meeting I felt a special connection between us. A lifelong musician, a gentle soul, my precious student. Her battle with that insidious disease has ended, and she is now among the angels.
I will miss her.

Your heart will be in my thoughts and prayers Edie. Caring about people as you do, I know it must be very painful. The quote from “The Notebook,” is beautiful and true. It was a gift to both of you that you were connected in such a special way! Thinking of you and sending you healing energy!
I am so saddened by the death of Karleen. I have thought of her often over the years. I lived so near to her and could do so little but respect her desire for privacy. In my heart I know that she is now free of pain and at long last, at peace. Bless you Edie for being her friend.
I’m saddened as well by Karleen’s passing. I remember her so well, as she was in my first class with Bedside Harp. We also went through the modules together. She truly was a gentle soul, and an experienced musician. I’m so glad that she found comfort from being connected to you and Bedside Harp over the years. May she rest in peace!
Though I never knew her I am deeply touched and changed because she affected many of my harp family’s lives. She enabled us all to grow in many ways by her presence. Let us all remember that her light still shines within us so that we can shine to others. Comfort to all.
