Letting Go
I have too many clothes. My closets are stuffed; my drawers are packed; my shelves are sagging. Too many blouses; too many slacks; too many skirts; too much of everything.
It’s time to let go.
Besides, there just might be someone out there longing for the clothes that crowd my space and complicate my life.
“Come to the edge.”
“We can’t. We’re afraid.”
“Come to the edge.”
“We can’t. We will fall!”
“Come to the edge.”
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.
~Guillaume Apollinaire
My wish for you today is to let things go and be free!
Enjoy your day!

Dear Edie,
I KNOW what you mean! The Somerset Hills VNA has two huge rummage sales each Spring and Fall. Last Fall, I made up my mind to start in my closet. I quickly went through everything and just pulled out all the beautiful, expensive high-heeled shoes I NEVER wear any more, put them in bags and ran to the car before I changed my mind! It was a beginning. I wound up with two car loads of clothes and sundry other items from the basement. This Spring, my closet was still too full so I started the procedure once again. These are little baby steps. And, during these Spring and Summer months, every week I hope to fill a few bags with SOMETHING I no longer use, need or want. I really do want to simplify my life and get rid of all this clutter. I want, and need, lots more sacred space.
Many Blessings,
Kathy Savo
