The Power of Friendships

Once again it’s been a while since my last post.  I could tell you that I’ve been too busy to write. Not so. Yes, I have been busy, but that’s not why I haven’t posted lately. The real reason is that life has been a bit challenging lately.  A son going through tough times, aging elders, another close relative dealing with illness—all took the pins out of me in the past few weeks, I’m afraid. 

Yesterday everything was made all better.  I had lunch with two girlfriends.  We chatted incessantly, giggled, shared secrets and stories.  It’s just amazing how healing an hour with good friends can be.
